What we store in your browser, why, and how to control it.

What cookies and local storage are

Cookies and local storage are small pieces of data a website saves in your browser. Some are needed for a site to work; others are used by advertisers to show and measure ads.

Storage we use ourselves

We do not set cookies of our own. Our tools use your browser's local storage only to make them work for you:

  • Saving the numbers and drafts you enter, so they are still there when you come back.
  • Remembering your chosen currency across tools.

This data stays on your device and is never sent to us. It is strictly necessary for the save feature you are using, so it does not require consent. You can delete it at any time by clearing site data for tallyvane.com in your browser settings.

Advertising cookies

We show ads through Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may set and read cookies, or use similar technologies such as device identifiers, to:

  • show ads, including ads based on your interests and your visits to this and other websites;
  • limit how many times you see the same ad and prevent fraud;
  • measure how ads perform.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet. Details are in how Google uses cookies in advertising.

Your choices

  • Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalised ads or non-essential advertising cookies are used, through a consent message shown by Google. You can change or withdraw consent at any time with the privacy and cookie settings link that appears on the page.
  • Everyone can turn off personalised ads from Google at Google Ads Settings, and from many other companies at aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu.
  • US state privacy rights: where state law gives you the right to opt out of targeted advertising, you can do so through the options above and Google's ad settings.
  • Browser controls: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking all storage may stop our tools from saving your work.
